Firstly, thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. Choosing someone to trust with your mental health is an important and deeply personal decision. You may be coming to care with questions, concerns you've been carrying for some time, or simply the feeling that something in your life could be better. Wherever you may be starting from, I believe you deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, one of the most important parts of my work is creating an environment where you feel comfortable talking openly about what you're experiencing. Mental health can be difficult enough to navigate without feeling judged, dismissed, or misunderstood. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around getting to know you as a person before deciding what care should look like.

Throughout my experience in mental health care, I've had the opportunity to work with patients across different stages of life and with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. Those experiences have reinforced something I strongly believe: even when people share the same diagnosis, their experiences can look very different.

There is no single treatment plan that works for everyone. Your experiences, responsibilities, relationships, environment, goals, and concerns are uniquely yours, and I believe your care should reflect that. I take the time to understand not only the symptoms that brought you to care, but how those symptoms are affecting your everyday life and what meaningful improvement would look like for you.

My approach combines evidence-based care with medication management, patient education, and ongoing collaboration. I believe understanding your treatment is an important part of feeling confident in it. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and being involved in the decisions we make together. Treatment should feel like a conversation, not something happening around you without your voice being part of it.

I also believe mental health care extends beyond treating a diagnosis. Medication may be one part of the conversation, but understanding the whole person helps us see a much larger picture. My goal is to work alongside you to develop a treatment plan that considers your needs, your goals, and the life you want to live—not simply the symptoms you want to leave behind.

Progress can mean different things to different people. For one person, it may mean feeling less overwhelmed by anxiety. For another, it might mean finding the motivation to enjoy things again, becoming more present with family, improving focus, rebuilding routines, or simply having more good days than difficult ones. Whatever brings you to care, I want us to define progress in a way that feels meaningful to you.

If we have the opportunity to meet, I look forward to hearing your story, understanding what you've been experiencing, and learning what you hope to accomplish through care. My hope is that you leave our conversations feeling understood, informed, and confident that you have someone working alongside you as you move toward meaningful and lasting improvement in your quality of life.
