Psychiatric care in Florida
Psychiatric care that starts with a conversation about your symptoms, medical history, and current concerns, and continues with medication management, monitoring, and adjustments when appropriate.
Understanding the process
Online psychiatry is delivered entirely by secure video, starting with a psychiatric evaluation and continuing with medication management for as long as it's clinically appropriate.
Your first appointment is a structured conversation used to understand your symptoms, health history, daily functioning, and treatment needs. Your provider may ask about mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, behavior, relationships, work or school performance, previous diagnoses, and medications.
If ongoing care is appropriate, follow-up appointments are used to evaluate how well treatment is working and whether it remains appropriate for your symptoms and goals — reviewing mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, daily functioning, side effects, and any changes since your last visit.

Review current prescriptions, previous psychiatric medications, treatment responses, side effects, and concerns.
02
Discuss whether medication changes may be appropriate based on effectiveness, tolerability, and clinical needs.
When to bring up medication
Medication follow-up allows your provider to understand how treatment is affecting your symptoms and whether changes may be needed.
4. Follow-up appointments
Follow-up appointments track changes in symptoms, daily functioning, sleep, mood, attention, and overall response to treatment, and are scheduled to reassess progress, address questions, and maintain continuity of care.
